Tina Gelnett died suddenly from a brain aneurysm on Wednesday, August
20, 2003 at Christiana Hospital in Wilmington, DE. Tina is survived by
her life partner of 4 years, Teresa Adkins, and Teresa’s two sons,

stepmother, Butch and Peggy Gelnett, two brothers, BJ and Jeremy Gelnett,
her mother, Johann Neimer, grandparents Bert and Mildred Dillingham, and
Shirley Klugh, all of Pennsylvania.
Originally from Pennsylvania, Tina moved to Delaware in 1999 shortly
after meeting Teresa in Rehoboth Beach. Tina graduated from Garden Spot
High School in 1991, and worked for the US Postal Service in Seaford,
Delaware.
Tina loved animals, but had a special passion for dolphins, having
spent many hours at the beach watching them swim. Tina was a caring,
loving, and very special young woman. Because she was an organ donor,
she has touched the lives of those she never knew.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 30, 2003.
