Gov. Minner proclams Human Relations month saying "everyone is
entitled to all the rights and freedoms...without distinction of ...race,
sex, age, color, creed, religion, marital status, national or social origin,
familial status, disability, sexual orientation, political or other
status."

Sussex YMCA Honors CAMP Rehoboth
YMCA Exec. Director Terry Raspberry presents CAMP Rehoboth’s Steve
Elkins with the YMCA Mission Award. The award, which was announced at the
YMCA’s annual dinner, was a thank you to CAMP Rehoboth for helping the
Sussex Y build strong communities.

Stop AIDS: Keep the Promise
Persons from throughout the community gathered on World AIDS Day for a
candlelight walk on Rehoboth Avenue and a service of hope and remembrance at
Epworth Church. The banners formed a quilt, symbolizing the call we all have
to Stop AIDS.

Downtown Rehoboth Ready for Mardi Gras
Seventeen Downtown Rehoboth restaurants are gearing up for Mardi Gras
festivities Feb. 15-20 featuring Cajun food, drinks, music, and more. Plus,
a Gumbo Cook-off.

Dessert was on CAMP at Annual Unity Dinner
CAMP Rehoboth staff and volunteers joined with other Rehoboth groups to
help make the 2006 Community Dinner the best yet. Pictured are Chris

serving cakes and other goodies to the more than 500 attendees.

New Year’s Starburst Gayla Is a Hit
Record numbers of revelers gathered at the Rehoboth Convention Center to
dance in the New Year. The event raised more than $20,000 for WomanHeart,
The Wellness Community of DE, and CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.
Plans are already in the works for next year’s celebration.
