Bingo-A-Go-Go at the Beach
Grab your Valentine; Bingo-A-Go-Go hits the beach for the sixth winter
with an event on Saturday, February 11 at the Rehoboth Beach Convention
Center.
Bingo-A-Go-Go is a fundraising benefit for AIDS Delaware, Delaware Pride,
Rainbow Chorale of Delaware, and the Metropolitan Community Church of
Rehoboth. The theme for this event is "LOVE STRUCK" and will have
15 games and many, many prizes. The night will also feature LOVELY beautiful
ladies.
Bingo-A-Go-Go allows participants to have fun while supporting services
that benefit our community. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes
relating to the theme.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the first game will be called at 7 p.m. Tickets
are $12 in advance and can be purchased at the AIDS Delaware office or from
any member of Delaware Pride, at MCC Rehoboth, and at CAMP Rehoboth at 37
Baltimore Ave. Tickets will be $15 at the door. It’s the most fun you can
have without the risk of heartbreak!
Once Again, It’s Time to Book ‘em
Plan to stop by the book sale at the Rehoboth Public Library on March 11.
There will be tables and tables of books, videos, tapes and CDs to peruse—all
priced incredibly low. How can you pass up a hardback book for a buck?
All proceeds from the sale go to the Rehoboth Beach Public Library. Come
by the library between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on the 11th, say hi
to the CAMP volunteers, and pick up a few good books to read. The library is
located at 226 Rehoboth Ave, diagonally across from the firehouse.
Donations to the sale are needed, and are gladly accepted at CAMP
Rehoboth, 37 Baltimore Avenue so they can be sorted for the sale.
For more information, call Kathy at 302-227-5620.
