Winter Film Series at
Gallery 50
Gallery 50 presents its Winter Film Series
every Saturday through March in the gallery's screening room. The series
examines the lives of influential artists of our time. To date films
exploring the lives of Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, Frida Kahlo and Vincent
van Gogh have been viewed.
Names of upcoming films may be found on the
gallery's website at www.50contemporaryart.com.
A reception for each film begins at 7:00 p.m.
with the start of the film at 8:00 p.m. Candy, popcorn, soda and wine are
available. A donation of $5 is suggested.

Letters Is Always Up for a Cruise
Always up for a good read, Barb Thompson and
Deb Qualey managed to produce copies of Letters from CAMP Rehoboth on the
Olivia Cruise they were on last month—along with 52 other women from the
Rehoboth area.

In
case you were wondering why it was easier to find a parking space on
Baltimore Avenue last month, it’s because fifty-four women from the
Rehoboth Beach area had gone to sea to celebrate the 35th anniversary of
Olivia, the premier travel company for lesbians. Many
of the Rehobothites are pictured here with Judy Dlugacz, the President and
Founder of Olivia Travel.

CAMP/Beebe Hold Cancer Screenings
CAMP Rehoboth’s Sal Seeley and Kathy Ward
from Beebe Medical Center hosted a dinner at Dos Locos for members of the
community interested in spreading the word about the importance of cancer
screenings for men and women.

Dish Drag Brunch Raises Funds for CAMP
More
than 90 people dragged themselves out of bed for the first annual “drag
brunch” at Dish restaurant on Baltimore Ave. The event raised funds for
the capital campaign of the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.
