The Indian River Marina
Hello
again! Let me tell you about a great hideaway place that is just a few
miles from Rehoboth Beach, on the Indian River Bay. It’s Indian River
Marina and it has plenty to offer to both locals and visitors.
If you like fishing, Indian River Marina has great charters for a
half-day fishing trip or a full-day excursion in the ocean or the bay! You
can round up some friends and go out for general fishing, bass, tuna, or
just to enjoy the ride. If there’s only a few of you, come on-board our
head boat for the day.
If you have your own boat and are looking for some new and interesting
places to launch it, try our boat ramp at Indian River Marina. And if you
are looking to keep your boat looking
and operating like new for years to come, try keeping it in our drystack
storage facility! Drystack storage is like the difference between keeping
your car in the garage or letting is sit out in the elements. Our drystack
is brand new and state-of-the-art. All you need to do is give us 24-hours
notice when you want to take your boat out and we’ll have it in the
water and waiting for you when you arrive. We also offer a full range of
services for your boat like blocking and power washing as well as
supplying service and repair vendors.
Now, let’s talk visitors. Say your parents are coming in from out of
town and you want them to have
a
great place to stay where they can make themselves at home— but you don’t
want it to necessarily be YOUR home. Well, Indian River Marina offers
beautiful waterfront cottages for rent by the week during the season and
by the night off-season! These are affordable luxury cottages that make a
great alternative to an impersonal hotel. All your visitors need is towels
and linens, everything else is included. The cottages have a nicely
appointed kitchen, a gas fireplace, a TV with a DVD player, and more.
These cottages sleep six comfortably, so invite your whole family down to
visit!
Indian River Marina is located in Delaware Seashore State Park, just a
few miles south of Rehoboth on Route 1. You can get information about all
of this and more by calling the Marina Office at (302) 227-3071 or
visiting www.destateparks.com.
See you at the park!
