Just wanted to make a comment about Fay’s
last line (in CAMPout, volume 17 issue 4)—"We still need a Jewish
deli here."
Lori’s may not be the big New York Jewish deli, but it is Rehoboth’s
Jewish deli. Oy-Vey!!

In response to an article by Fay Jacobs entitled "You can go home
again…" Fay says, "the only thing missing in Rehoboth is a
Jewish Deli." I have four words: Lori’s Oy Vey Café.
Jen Booth
Fay’s response: Oy, Vey! I have egg matzoh on my face! I love Lori’s
and it’s certainly got lots of my kind of soul food...but I was talking
about the kind of deli where the waiters insult you (that certainly doesn’t
happen at Lori’s) and you can get Brisket dinners, matzoh brei, blintzes
and breakfast 24 hours...and you need extra strength Maalox when you come
out. Actually, it would be better for me if we DIDN’T have that kind of
thing so accessible.
Lori, I hope you forgive me for the miscommunication. Can I still come
in for your fantastic white fish salad???
