Next Generation of Gays Buying in Rehoboth
Patrick Mahoney and Martin Hicks welcomed guests into their Sixth Street
beach house Sunday night for their house warming party. This barely 30
year old couple represents the leading edge of the next generation of gay
home buyers in Rehoboth. Born after Judy Garland’s 1969 death, this new
gay generation may not appreciate what those before them have done to make
Rehoboth a welcoming place, but they are embracing Rehoboth as a place to
live and vacation. Several Rehoboth regulars attending this appropriately
entitled Regime Change party commented they had never felt so old at a
Rehoboth party as scores of 20 somethings made up the majority of
attendees.

buff Ben Martin, and butch Blue Moon bartender Brad McAninch.
