Connecting with Spirit Workshop
Dr. James Keehner, PhD, will offer a 6-hour Meditation Workshop on
Saturday, June 19.
Participants will learn how to connect with their Higher Self and the
Spirit. Understanding the Spirit/Mind/ Body connection and the fact that the
electromagnetic field is the connection with Spirit, increases our awareness
and changes our perception of the world and ourselves. As is stated in A
Course In Miracles: "A miracle is a change in perception!"
Dr. Keehner, a psychologist and spiritual medium, will focus on the
chakra system, meditation and awareness techniques to achieve the workshop
goals, and will also do several readings. For more about Dr. Keehner’s
experience, see www.JamesKeehner.com.
Cost for the workshop is $95 per person, with attendance limited to 15
people. The class will be held from 1-8 p.m. (dinner break from 5-6) at the
Sussex Family YMCA, 105 Church St. RSVP
302-227-8018.

Volunteer Spotlight
Catherine Janis, an intern at CAMP Rehoboth this summer, and volunteer
Charlie Lee take a break from entering data for the 2004 Beach Book which
will be available on June 20. It takes the efforts of many volunteers to
keep on top of the numerous activities going on at the CAMP Rehoboth
Community Center and they’re all important.
If you’d like information on volunteering, call Kathy Weir at
302-227-5620.

It’s Lift-Off
Ann Wilgus was the first person to use the recently installed vertical
chair lift at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center when she attended the book
signing for Fay Jacobs. She was thrilled to find the Center accessible to
everyone wanting to come inside.
Five Dollars for A Clean Car
Don’t waste valuable beach time washing your car! Drop by the NAMI-Delaware
office on Rehoboth Avenue, and let the 2005 Rehoboth Roundup Committee wash
it for you. You will have a clean car for just $5, and you won’t have to
break a sweat!
This event benefits the Rehoboth Roundup scheduled for February 18-20,
2005. If you can’t make the car wash, but would like to support the
Roundup, send donations to Rehoboth Roundup, PO Box 11, Rehoboth Beach, DE
19971.
The NAMI-Delaware office shares a building with the Henlopen Theater
Project, and AIDS Delaware at 706 Rehoboth Avenue. (It’s the large peach
colored house across the street from Bayberry Flowers.) The parking area is
right next to the building.
