Letters is going to the dogs. Or so it seems.

No less than four dog-centric businesses (some with feline connections, too) are hawking their wares and services in this fine publication.

For starters, there’s the whole Mirabelle thing. If you don’t know her name now, you’ll be on best buddy terms with this adorable Boston Terrier very soon. Detail is owned by Mirabelle and her two canine companions and is operated by collage artist Michael Muller and Tom Boeke.

While the mission of Detail is to offer a retail experience that showcases unique artwork and merchandise inspiring customers to create "a gallery for the home, " the whole place has been put on the art world map by one little dog with a lot of big adventures. According to Muller, Mirabelle is one crazy Boston Terrier whose personality and new line of Mirabelle merchandise is making a name for Detail. In fact, it’s as much Mirabelle’s popularity as the selection of art and accessories that drives the store’s great reputation.

"The Adventures of Mirabelle" are the creation of collage artist Michael Muller. Michael is one of the 25 artists represented at Detail and MDH Finearts of NYC.

In the cards and colorful prints, Mirabelle stars in Muller’s playful collages—highlighting the lovely pup’s penchant to swim with the mermaids, get a new hairdo with her sister at the Laughing Poodle Salon, or stroll iconic Rehoboth Beach.

A personal favorite of this reporter is the "Mirabubble" print and the hint of the occult in "There’s a Bone in My Future."

And speaking of the future, a Mirabelle book is on deck, with Rehoboth’s own pooch all set to make her literary debut.

Detail has been open just over a year now, with the art (24 artists are represented in addition to Muller, including some Rehoboth favorites like Sondra Arkin and Ward Elliniger) and accessories displayed creatively in a home-like environment. The artwork includes paintings, drawings, collages, mixed media, and photography that reflects interesting and edgy choices for customers.
