I’ve been a LONG time—summer, and fall, and spring, and winter—visitor
of Rehoboth—since around 1990. I’ve had such wonderful times, sad
times, developed wonderful memories and friendships, and some tragic times
(please delete all those pictures from the website!!!!). But something
happened recently that moved me in a very significant way. My brother in
Stockbridge, Georgia asked me if I knew Fay Jacobs. My jaw dropped and I
shrieked (in a very masculine way), "How do you know her?"
It seems he has enjoyed her writings for a while and has developed an
on-line friendship with her. Then he proceeded to tell me he was being
quoted in a letter in Letters from CAMP Rehoboth regarding her new book.
Well, that was almost too much and of course made me burst into tears!
This past year has been a difficult one for me. I’ve moved back to
Atlanta, hopefully to return to DC (AND Rehoboth Beach) in the near
future, and my brother has really become my best friend. To read what he
wrote and you printed regarding his letter and her book made me realize
the love and the breadth of what our community has to offer.
You know, I feel far away right now, but things like this make me
realize how close to home I really am.

There is a new service for Rehoboth, for poeple that need a ride.
Coastal Resort Limo Services has a car service called Coastal Resort Car
‘N Driver. It’s a white Cadillac driven by Bob who used to drive a cab
for Seaport Taxi Service. He is working to build up a clientele as he
serves the Rehoboth Beach area.
This is a great service and we hope it will catch on. It’s not a
taxi, but the next level of great service.
For more information, check out www.cosres.com and look at the page
called "New Addition."
