In Brief

HTP Presents Greater Tuna

Henlopen Theater Project’s next theater production will be Greater Tuna, one of the most frequently performed plays in the U.S. It’s coming to the Cape Henlopen High School Little Theater August 17, 18, and 19 at 8:00 pm.

Greater Tuna is a hilarious satire on life in rural America. It tells the story of a day in the life of 20 eclectic residents of Tuna, Texas. Two actors play all the roles as they maniacally change costumes and persona.

If you saw it Off Broadway, at the Kennedy Center, or even in the White House, you will want to see it again. If not you don’t want to miss this night of sheer entertainment and fun.

This is sure to be a sell out so order your tickets early. Call 302-226-4103. Tickets are $25. Group rates are available at $18 for ten or more people.

Drains to Ocean No Dumping

CAMP Rehoboth is looking for volunteers who will help attach a small metal sign to the sewer grates in Rehoboth Beach. Each grate will eventually have a sign reading "Drains to Ocean (Lake, Canal)—No Dumping."

For more information, contact Kathy at CAMP Rehoboth at 302-227-5620. We will get everyone together and plan a few hours to dedicate to this worthwhile project.

Sundance 2006 Is Just a Month Away

The nineteenth annual Sundance Benefit—the best way to close the summer season at the beach—will be held at the Rehoboth Convention Center, September 2 and 3.

Call 302-227-5620 if you would like to be a host, supporter, or sponsor, donate to the auction, volunteer to help with the event, or to purchase tickets.
