Same Sex Attraction Catholics Group

Beebe Hospital Opens New Facility in Rehoboth
Beebe Medical Center opens a new facility on Route 24 near the intersection with Route 1 on Sept. 20. Focus of the center is advanced technology imaging. Services include X-ray, fluoroscopy, MRI, CAT scan and ultrasound. 302-645-3100.

Drag King Added to Purple Parrot Line Up
Drag king persona Elliott Rush has been added to the line up of drag queens at Jordan Taylor’s Sunday (9 p.m.) drag shows at Purple Parrot’s upstairs Birdcage.

Rehoboth Art League Features Food Themed Art
RAL’s fall show will display dozens of works by local artists which represent images, ideas or objects associated with cooking, eating, food, or its containers.

Gay Couples Workshop Sept. 26-28
Getting the Love You Want is the topic of a workshop scheduled for the weekend of Sept. 26-28 at Epworth Church, 20 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth. Imago Relationship Therapy provides couples with new sense of sacred space in their relationship, new communication skills, greater mutual compassion, new ways of turning conflict into opportunities for healing and growth, new desire and design for releasing their joy together, and better ability to dream their highest dreams together. Ce Ce Peniston Headlines Pride Fest
The seventh Delaware Pride Festival is Saturday, Sept. 27 from noon until 6 p.m. at Gordons Pond in Cape Henlopen State Park. Performances by Ce Ce Peniston, Girlyman, Suede and Kelly Ricketts. Comedy by Danny Cohen and Jessia Kirson. Drag performances by Anita Mann, Jake McIntoch, Ivy Profen, Christina DeCarlo, and Raven, and activities for all ages.

Suede Performs at Nassau Vineyards
Suede has been described as a cross between Ella Fitzgerald and Bette Midler, with a dash of Rosemary Clooney and Louis Armstrong. CAMP Holds GLBT Health Topic Chats
CAMPchats are a program to encourage the GLBT community to discuss health issues. The first chat will be held Tuesday, Sept. 30 from 7-8:30 p.m. at Brew Ha Ha in First Street Station on Rehoboth Ave. Bernard Stiefel will discuss substance abuse and addiction in the GLBT community.
