She administered first aid and refused to leave (fortunately for me) when several lifeguards showed up and told her to leave it to them. While I believe the lifeguards are good at getting someone out of water and putting on a Band-Aid, they certainly did not appear to know as much about the bleeding management or how to be as compassionate as my unknown angel.

My angel refused to abandon her work, told the lifeguards (in spite of being ordered to leave or they would have her forcibly removed) to get 9-1-1, and get me to Beebe. They finally did. After six hours of surgery and a $25,000 stay, I was discharged with metal plates and screws installed and no use of arm and hand. But, I was saved by that marvelous blonde angel.

I wonder if there is any way you might help me identify that angel so I can properly thank her for her "far above and beyond" care which finally brought the needed care. Without her, an injured swimmer would have experienced much more delay and extreme pain, or far worse. She was there for me and I want to express my extreme gratitude to her.

I wanted to take this opportunity to send a sincere message of thanks to Steve Elkins, Kathy Weir and the rest of the CAMP Rehoboth staff who were so very helpful in providing space and logistical support for my talk on "Unleashing the Power of Your Purpose" September 14 and 17. Thanks to you all, I believe our sessions were a great success.

I was delighted to hear that the space in the courtyard behind the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center is available for the use of our GLBT community. This is a great location, the CAMP staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, and it’s very convenient to everything.

I’d like to encourage any member of our community who is looking for a space for a small gathering to take this area of CAMP Rehoboth into serious consideration.
