Dear CAMP Rehoboth,
The Employment Non-discrimination Act or ENDA (S. 932, H.R. 1863) has been reintroduced and it has strong bi-partisan support, along with the support of President Clinton.
A recent poll shows that 68% of Americans support ENDA; a bill that would outlaw discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation in employment at the federal level. Last year, ENDA failed to pass the Senate by a vote of 49-50.
EVERYONE should contact their U.S. Representatives and Senators and ask them to SUPPORT ENDA.
Find out who your senator or representative is by using the Human Rights Campaigns web site located at http://www.hrc.org and query based on your zip code.
Then call: The Capitol Switchboard (202) 224-3121 and ask for the office of your senator or representative.
Or write to them using the following format:
The Honorable Senator __________ U.S. Senate Washington, DC 20510
The Honorable Representative ___________ U.S. House of Representatives Washington, DC 20515
Dont delay! Do it now!
