Twisted Broadway February 7 at Cloud 9 |
| Twisted Broadway, a new 2-person musical evening, will be on stage at Cloud 9 Restaurant and Bar in Rehoboth on Saturday night Feb. 7.
Twisted Broadway, produced by Fay J. Productions, is a collection of Broadway show tunes, featuring classic numbers as well as some deliciously obscure words and musicall performed with a twist. Directed by Fay Jacobs, Twisted Broadway stars Dan Herrel and Eric C. Peterson. Peterson, a veteran performer who hails from Washington, D.C., was seen locally in Twisted Broadway and Razzle Dazzle at La Rosa Negra Restaurant in Lewes last fall. Herrel, also from the D.C. area, has an extensive musical comedy resume as well. Herrel is delighted to be doing a benefit performance at Cloud 9 for the MCC Building Fund, as he spends a lot of time at his vacation home here in Rehoboth and is pleased to be able to do something for the community. Twisted Broadway will be on stage for one night only at Cloud 9 with two separate shows during the evening. The first show starts at 10 p.m. The dance floor area at Cloud 9 will be set up with a new, raised platform to give patrons a clear view of the show from the entire bar area. Cloud 9 is located at 234 Rehoboth Avenue. There is a suggested donation of $2 for the show and during the evening a 50/50 raffle will be held to benefit the MCC Building Fund as well.
