Women's Dance Party at ROAM Benefits Lesbian Health Initiative |
The Lesbian Health Initiative (LeHI) and ROAM nightclub announced that every Saturday will be womens night at ROAM, downtown Wilmingtons most intimate gay club, located on Shipley Street, above The Shipley Grill.
The cover donation is $3 per person. LeHI will use the funds to help expand its list of lesbian-friendly health care providers, to help survey lesbian and bisexual women about their particular health-related concerns and needs, and to help obtain and develop educational materials for distribution throughout Delaware. Womens Saturdays will continue through the end of the year. LeHI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the physical and emotional well being of lesbians in Delaware through education, outreach, referral, and advocacy. ROAM is upstairs at 913 Shipley Street in downtown Wilmington, just minutes from Interstate I-95. The doors open at 8 p.m. every Saturday. For more information or for driving directions, call the Lesbian Health Initiative at 302-652-8786. |
