Legends & Lore Exhibit Features Local Photographer |
Legends & Lore Gallery and Vintage Shop, recently opened at 169 Avenue, will exhibit the photographs of Ali Adnan Akgunduz throughout the month of June. Originally from Turkey, Adgunduz moved to Georgetown, Delaware in 1998. His photography received international attention when he won the Grand Prize in a Kodak competition with a photograph of Dewey Beach. The prize winning photo, entitled "Door to the Ocean" was published in Photo Life Magazine.. Legends & Lore Gallery, owned by local musician Regina AaMacha, is located between the Post Office and Java Beach in Gingerbread Square. The shop sells a variety of items including, art, antiques, vintage clothing, stained glass, old sheet music, collectibles and jewelry.
