AIDS Delaware Celebrates Opening of Rehoboth Office |
AIDS Delaware will hold an official open house at its new Sussex County location at 706 Rehoboth Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, on Saturday, October 21, from 4 to 7 p.m. The public is invited to attend. The open house will include entertainment by ELAYSHA, a female acoustic folk/rock duo of Elinore Speeks and Barb Klc from the Pennsylvania area. Light refreshments, friendly conversation, and important health information will also be offered. Come and bring a friend. A non-profit organization, founded in 1984, AIDS Delaware is the state's largest and oldest AIDS services organization. The agency's services have continually evolved to meet the challenge that HIV presents to the community. AIDS Delaware's mission is to provide comprehensive social and support services to clients and their families; advocacy for compassionate public policy; and prevention and education programs addressing unsafe sexual and drug use behaviors to halt the spread of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases.
