Rehoboth Mourns Death of Matt Haley
Residents of Delaware are still reeling from the recent news that popular local restauranteur Matt Haley was killed in a tragic traffic accident in Ladakh, India. He was 53, and will be greatly missed.
Dedication For Historical Marker
The dedication ceremony for a new State Historical Marker commemorating the history of Silver Lake and Lake Comegys will be August 25 at 10 a.m. at the south end of Silver Lake Bridge.
Drag Volleyball Returns to Poodle
A Rehoboth tradition continues on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend when the teams face off on the sand at Poodle Beach for the annual Drag Volleyball smack-down. The fun starts at 1 p.m.
Free Flu Shots At CAMP Rehoboth
Nurses from Beebe Healthcare will return to the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center (37 Baltimore Avenue) on Wednesday, October 1 from 1-6 p.m., to provide free flu shots. All are welcome. MCC Brings Comic To Rehoboth Beach
Internationally known comedian Sampson McCormick is coming to Rehoboth for one performance at MCC-Rehoboth on Saturday, September 27. His comedy offers riveting, refreshing, and original takes on religion, sexuality, life, and politics—all those things you aren’t supposed to talk about in polite company! Rehoboth Elections Show Support
The recent Rehoboth Beach City Election results showed a high level of approval for City leadership. Mayor Sam Cooper and Commissioner Lorraine Zellers and Kathy McGuiness were elected.
Mental Illness Course at CAMP
NAMI is offering a free education program for families, friends, and loved ones of those living with a mental illness, personality disorder, and/or substance use problems. Clerk of the Peace Celebrates at CAMP
John Brady, Sussex County Clerk of the Peace, celebrated marriage equality in Delaware at CAMP Rehoboth. Barb Ralph was recognized for her role in organizing CAMP’s wedding witness program.
