Sundance Finds a New Home for 2016
With the Rehoboth Beach Convention Center out of commission for all of 2016, the big question all year has been where Sundance will take place. Event organizers put an end to that speculation last week when it was announced that Sundance 2016—Rainbow XXIX: Sol Groove will be held in the large public spaces of the Rehoboth Mall—and they promise its going to be spectacular! Tricks and Treats for July 4th Weekend?
The boys of 6 Futcher Drive in Rehoboth Beach have become famous for their annual July 4th weekend Pool Party benefit for CAMP Rehoboth. Set for Saturday, July 2, this year’s Pool Party is sure to be another crowd pleaser. A $15 donation is requested at the door, or in advance on the CAMP Rehoboth website (tickets available in early June). To volunteer or for more information contact the CAMP Rehoboth office.
CAMP Rehoboth Block Party 2
Last year’s CAMP Rehoboth 25th Anniversary Block Party on Baltimore Avenue was so popular, the City of Rehoboth Beach and CAMP Rehoboth have agreed to do it all over again. The CAMP Rehoboth Block Party 2 will take place on Sunday, October16 from noon to 4 p.m. in the second block of Baltimore Avenue. Vendor information is available at CAMP Rehoboth, and will be available online by early summer.
Lori’s Café Celebrates Anniversary in the CAMP Rehoboth Courtyard
Both past and present employees of the popular Lori’s Café posed for this “family portrait” at Lori’s recent 70 Years of Fun Party, celebrating 20 years for the Café and 50 for its namesake. “Lori’s has grown right along with CAMP Rehoboth” says CAMP Rehoboth, Executive Director Steve Elkins. “I can’t imagine the Courtyard without Lori!”

Over the past year, 475 individuals volunteered for CAMP Rehoboth, and all of them were celebrated at the annual CAMP Rehoboth Volunteer Appreciation Party at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center on May 7—this time with a western theme!
