Hosts and Sponsors Needed for 30th Sundance Benefit
It’s the 30th year for Sundance, and the two-day Labor Day weekend event has only gained energy over the past three decades. Sundance is one of the largest and most spectacular events held in Rehoboth. Nearly 1,000 people participate, a number that seems to grow every year. This year, Sundance 2017—Rainbow XXX: Solar NRG is destined to be the biggest yet, an over-the-top extravaganza of fun. For that reason, Sundance provides an ideal opportunity for area individuals, businesses, and organizations to do well by doing good. Through serving as a host or sponsor, they can gain visibility or promote their business or cause, all while helping CAMP Rehoboth. Sponsorship levels start as low as $100, and businesses and higher-level supporters can choose from a variety of options. Monies raised support CAMP Rehoboth, an organization that operates a full-service community center; offers a variety of activities, cultural events, service projects, and educational programs; and advocates for a community of inclusion in Rehoboth Beach.
Sundance 2017—Rainbow XXX: Solar NRG will be held September 2-3. By popular demand, the event is returning to the Rehoboth Mall, a venue that provided not only abundant free parking but also ample party space, creative design options, and a dynamic backdrop for the high-energy event. Sundance has two components. Saturday, September 2, from 7-10 pm, is the silent and live auction (with auctioneer Lorne Crawford), a cocktail buffet, and an open bar all night. Sunday, September 3, from 8 pm-2 am, is the dance party with music by DJ/Remixer Joe Gauthreaux, lights by Paul Turner, and an open bar.
An event the size of Sundance cannot happen without the generous support of many Sponsors, Supporters, and Hosts. The Sponsor ($1,000 minimum) and Supporter ($500 minimum) levels provide the most dramatic exposure and include tickets, t-shirts, and admission to the private Sundance Lounge at the dance. The Sponsor level includes logo placement on all materials. Gold and Diamond levels are also available for premier placement. The Host fee ($100) includes one ticket to each of the two events, listing on the invitation and promotional materials, and a Sundance 2017 t-shirt. There is also a $300 individual or business Gold Host listing that includes all the above benefits, plus premier placement on posters and ads.
