Another Take—the LGBT Film Series
Head to the screening room at the Movies at Midway on Sept. 24 and 25 for Another Take, the semi-annual LGBT film series sponsored by the Rehoboth Beach Film Society and CAMP Rehoboth. The films are shown at 2 p.m. each day. Bloomington—the story of Jackie, a 22 year old ex-television actress faced with a chance to return to show business—will be shown on Saturday. Private Romeo—the tale of eight cadets who live out the drama of Romeo and Juliet—will be shown on Sunday.

Angry Birds vs. Von Tramps! Drag Volleyball Continues a Labor Day Tradition on Poodle Beach
A two-decade old tradition continued on Sunday of Labor Day weekend when the Angry Birds faced the Von Tramps on the sand for the annual Rehoboth Beach Drag Volleyball extravaganza! Congratulations to the Von Tramps for their 2011 victory.
Rescheduled Sundance 5k Joins Labor Day Line-up
With a huge turnout of runners, walkers, and sashayers, the second annual Rehoboth Beach Sundance 5k broke its previous record in both dollars raised and number of persons participating. Thanks to Chris, Joey, Roxie, and the whole crew that made the event a success.

Take to the Streets in Support of AIDS Walk Delaware
It’s the fifteenth annual Delaware AIDS Walk, and it’s just as crucial that you walk this year as it was in the first year. We are still facing an epidemic, both at home and throughout the world, and the need for funds is greater than ever. CAMP Members Make Plans to See Billy Elliott in DC
Start your new year off right and join friends for a trip to the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC to see the touring company of Broadway’s Billy Elliott on Sunday, January 8, 2012. The excursion will include round-trip bus fare from Rehoboth, and orchestra seats for the matinee performance at a cost of approximately $125 per person. Letters Goes Around The World
Linda Kemp, Carolyn Horn, Georgette Krenkel, Rose Schmidt, and Letters toured the Great Wall of China. Then it was off to Provincetown with Leah McCloskey, Geri Dibiase, and Donna Sabecky. Letters loves to travel!
Prepared for Trouble and Ready for Irene!
Not willing to tempt the fate of Mother Nature, businesses throughout the beach area prepared for the worse when Irene came calling. Fortunately, Dos Locos, the Blue Moon, and everyone else came through with minimal damage.
