Col. Grethe Cammermeyer – Our Special Women’s FEST guest, Col. Cammermeyer was out front in the fight against Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell, wrote the book Serving in Silence and saw her remarkable story come to life in the film starring Glenn Close. Come watch the film, and hear Col. Cammermeyer  discuss her amazing experiences. Saturday, 1:30 pm, FEST Pass or $10 donation at the door. Military veterans Free.

Suzanne Westenhoefer – Fearless, bold, unapologetic, and freaking hilarious Suzanne Westenhoefer will be here doing what she does best:  telling the truth. And, the truth is, life is funny and no one is off limits! Her ground-breaking career as the first openly gay comedian ever to appear on TV, includes appearances on Letterman, HBO, Bravo, Logo and performances across the US. Friday, 8:30 pm, $25, RB Convention Center.

Tret Fure – Her career spans four decades, and she was front and center in the blossoming genre known as Women’s Music. She worked as a duo with Cris Williamson throughout the 90s releasing three CDs together.  Now after four acoustic releases on her own label, Tomboy Girl Records, she is in a career renaissance! Saturday, 2 shows at CAMP, 5 and 8 pm, $15.

Poppy Champlin – Her stand-up pedigree is flawless: Showtime and Logo specials, Oprah and Entertainment Tonight, Joan Rivers Show, Olivia Cruises and more. She will be doing a Stand-Up Workshop (FEST Pass required) at the Convention Center and one-show only at CAMP Rehoboth (Saturday 6;30 pm, $15.)

Meet and Greet Reception with food compliments of Kathy Davidson, Comcast Spotlight, and special guest Col. Grethe Cammermeyer 5-7 pm at a private venue. Tickets are limited. $50. Advance registration required by 4/2/12 (302-227-5620).

MIXX Welcome Happy Hour – 5-7 pm, at MIXX, 26 Baltimore Ave. – great fun, plus awesome cocktails by mixologist Ginger.

Frogg Pond Trivia Night – 9 pm-12 am, hosted by DJ Sharon and Frogg Pond proprietor Pete. Plus: 1/2 price entrees and bottles of wine. No cover, no fee to play! 3 S. First Street

Volunteers on Vacation – 9-11:30 am, join the CAMP Volunteer on Vacation program to garden for people in need. Contact Leslie Sinclair or call (302-519-4379) for  location.

Rehoboth Walking Tour  – 10:30 am, with Joan Ridolfi. A 1.5 to 2 mile stroll leaving from the Convention Center. Local history, famous tent houses and more. No cost, limit 25.

Book Signing at Proud Books – 10 am-noon. 50 Baltimore Avenue. Nationally known lesbian authors Lynn Ames, Georgia Beers, Sally Bellerose, Fay Jacobs, Andrea Myers and J. Lee Watton.

In a safe, fun, and loving environment, explore factors that inhibit sexual expression, and how we overcome them to enjoy our sexuality.

2. Latin Dance
Ruth Kloetzli and Leah McCloskey
Dance like the stars! Increase your social dancing skills and build your confidence for getting out on the dance floor. Learn the basics of Latin dance that will heat up any room and work just about anywhere, from a bar to a wedding. Come with or without a partner.

3. Author Readings and Book Signings

Learn basic bartending skills—how to set up a bar, use bartending tools, learn insider tricks, and make some of today’s popular cocktails. All course attendees must be 21 years old and have proper identification to fully participate in this class! Supported by and located at Cloud 9, 234 Rehoboth Avenue.

3. No-Limit Texas Hold ‘em Poker Lessons
Deb Qualey, Karen Gustafson, and Mary Jane Wood
Intro to strategy, rules, etiquette, and winning hands. Teacher to student ratio is 1:5. Class limited to 15.

4. Zumba
Body Shop Fitness – Certified Zumba Instructor
Have a blast and get some exercise too! Incorporating hip-hop, salsa, merengue, and more, Zumba is a latin inspired fitness program that’s sure to get your feet moving and your heart pumping.

5. Reike

Learn about this Japanese technique for reducing stress and achieving relaxation. Now who doesn’t need that! Plus Reike techniques also promote healing as a non-invasive, gentle way to bring the body into balance.
