Philadelphia Flower Show - Bus Trip - SOLD OUT!

Join us for a day at the Philadelphia Flower Show! This year's theme is called Riviera Holiday inspired by exotic Mediterranean gardens. The day is yours to enjoy the gardens, tour the city of Philly, or have lunch at the nearby Reading Terminal Market. 

The bus departs from CAMP Rehoboth at 7:30 a.m., and departs Philadelphia at 3:00 p.m.

The ticket price of $65 includes one round trip bus fare plus driver tip, and one ticket to the flower show.

AA - Young People's Meeting

AA Meeting- Young People's Meeting - Young at Heart with Room to Grow.

- The first Tuesday of the month is an open prevent homicide traditions study.

- The second Tuesday of the month is an open topic meeting.

- The third Tuesday of the month is an open beginners meeting.

- The fourth Tuesday of the month is an open tear it up big book study.

- The fifth Tuesday of the month is an open meditation meeting.

This group meets every Tuesday at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Ave. The meeting begins at 8 pm.

Tai Chi

Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese system of mind-body-spirit health, based on the wisdom of the Tao and the I Ching. Tai Chi can have many health benefits including: lowering blood pressure and reducing leg, neck, and back pain. Research has shown that practicing Tai Chi promotes balance and is an effective way for older adults to reduce risk of falling. Classes are free and all ages and fitness levels are welcome!

Classes are held at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Ave. at 1 pm.

Positively Trans

This is a group for those who identify as Transgender. The focus will be to discuss the positive aspects of identifying as Transgender.

The group will meet for six weeks, and will be facilitated by Cyd Vordenbaum, a licensed clinical therapist.  Topics will include:

- Enhanced interpersonal relationships/personal growth and resiliency
- Increased empathy/a unique perspective on both sexes
- Living beyond the sex binary
- Increased activism and connection to the LGBTQ communities.

PTK South (Parents of Transgender Kids)

Beginning September 4, 2019 the Bayhealth Hospital Sussex Campus in Milford will have a support group for parents of Transgender, Gender Fluid, and Non-Binary Youth.

Join the group to give and receive support, and share experiences and knowledge with each other.

The group will meet the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30 - 7:30 pm at the Bayhealth Hospital Sussex Campus, 100 Wellness Way, Milford, DE.

A Matter of Balance

This course can help you avoid a dangerous fall so you keep doing the things you want to do. During the class you will learn:

- How to increase your mobility with exercise

- Increase strength, coordination and balance

- Learn about home safety evaluation

- Increase your skill knowledge to keep you safe

This eight week course begins Thursday, March 5, 2020, and ends Thursday, April 23, 2020.  Classes will be held 9 - 11 am at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Ave.

Join us at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center for LGBTQ+ game night! Scream Yahtzee, collect $200 when you pass go, or be the first one to yell UNO! We are now hosting some friendly competition and lots of laughs and some snacks. We have board games but feel free to bring your own to share.

Coffee Talk is a positive topic group: A place where we can come together in a positive non judgemental atmosphere to share our thoughts and perspective on a topic.
