CAMP Rehoboth Book Club: You Exist Too Much

The CAMP Rehoboth Book Club is a queer-facilitated discussion group dedicated to reading novels about queer topics and/or books by queer authors that tackle a variety of interest and subject matters. We alternate between fiction, non-fiction, YA. This group typically meets on the last Monday of every month starting at 5:30 PM on Zoom. Flaming Knitters provides a thoughtful and engaging space for working, conversing, connecting, showing off, sharing resources, and supporting fiber-related crafts/projects in a queer- and trans-affirming space.

Morning Meditation - Pace Yourself

Join Erin from Lankai Wellness Studio for our Tuesday Morning Meditation for Mental Health. This month's theme is Patience, Acceptance, Connection and Empathy.

Virtual Chair Yoga

Everyone can access the health benefits of yoga in this Chair Yoga class with Erin Shivone from Lankai Studio. She’ll guide you to synchronize conscious breath and mindful movement. The sequence of poses is designed to energize and strengthen as well as relax and lengthen muscles. Reduce anxiety and stress, improve circulation, protect joints, builds strength and balance and support your overall well-being. Yoga also can help reduce cravings and simply make us feel good.

Classes are free and open to all.

Yoga for All

Join us Wednesdays at 11am, at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, for "Yoga for All." 

During this program, learn how to apply the practice and principles of yoga in a space that is inclusive for ALL. Yoga helps deepen an individual’s union with the authentic Self. There are many paths that lead to a state of Yoga, but all are meant to inspire awareness around the understanding that we are already whole. All levels welcome, along with opportunity to modify or advance, based upon personal preferences.

AARP Tax Prep 2023

CAMP Rehoboth is once again partnering with AARP for tax assistance on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This program will begin February 9 and conclude on April 6. On April 6th, AARP will only be returning completed tax returns -- no new intake. Taxpayers will schedule an appointment to meet with an AARP volunteer for a brief interview while dropping off a completed questionnaire and their tax documents. The volunteer will give the taxpayer a time to return the following week to review and sign the completed return and take all of their documents with them. 

Yoga for Men

Join us for Saturday morning yoga for men at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center. 

During this program, we will apply the practices of Yoga to create a safe space for positive masculinity, shared experience of common anatomy, and in the formation of union with the authentic Self. There are many paths that lead to the state of Yoga, but all are meant to develop awareness and the understanding that we are already whole. All levels are welcome, and everyone will be given the opportunity to modify or advance their practice, based upon their preferences.

Women In Circle 2023

Women in Circle is a gathering of LGBTQ+ Women. The circle is a welcoming, inclusive and a positive place to meet, connect, and share with other women. At each meeting a different topic opens the circle to discuss, learn and support one other. Become a part of the growing community of the Women in Circle.

The circle meets in -person on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month beginning at 10 a.m.

CAMP Rehoboth Bus Trip: Philadelphia Flower Show

Attention CAMPers! Join the next CAMP Rehoboth Bus Trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show 2023, "The Garden Electric," on March 7, departing from the Lowe's Parking Lot on Rt. 1 at 7 a.m.

Details:

Tickets are $75, and include a round-trip seat on the bus, a ticket to the Philadelphia Flower Show, driver gratuity, and some light snacks / refreshments for the trip to Philadelphia.

Depart at 7 a.m. (please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure time) from Lowe's Parking Lot on Rt. 1 at 20364 Plantation Rd, Lewes, DE 19958.
