The purpose of these 1-hour sessions is to provide a safe and healing place for those struggling with grief. There is a notion that people should be able ‘just get over’ their grief, when the reality is that grief is a complicated process for most everyone and the only path forward is going through it.
Among other things, the group offers people who are grieving the opportunity to be with others who are also are on the grief journey. It means you are likely to meet people who are genuinely understanding and sympathetic. You are fellow travelers on the same road.
All are welcome to attend. Gather around the stone circle in sacred space to track your personal evolution during this shamanic healing circle. The path-working spiritual tools used in this journey aides meditation and other natural altered states of consciousness. Often, psychic and intuitive awareness is increased during this sacred ceremony. The symbolic nature of journeying on the medicine wheel can help you access progressively deeper levels of consciousness and awareness, unlocking key insights into your grande unfolding.
The men's group serves as a place for Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender men to network and share experiences that are important. Group members offer suport for one another, which helps promote a healthier environment for all gay men.
The group meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7pm at Epworth United Methodist Church, 19285 Holland Glade Road.
