Want to save money on your car insurance? Do you want to bank extra points with the DMV? Do you know the "three-second rule" and why you shouldn’t drive with your hands at ten and two anymore?
This course will lead drivers age 50+ through practical driving techniques, the effects of the normal changes to vision and hearing caused by aging, and the effects of medications and alcohol. The course reviews the latest "rules of the road" and operating vehicles safely in today’s environment and with today’s technology.
The course is six hours and runs from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. (including a 1/2-hour lunch break) at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. You may bring your own bag lunch or enjoy one of the restaurants in downtown Rehoboth.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. You must attend the entire course in order to receive your certificate.
The fee for the course is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. Purchase tickets online at Eventbrite
