AARP Defensive Driving Class At CAMP Rehoboth!

Saturday, October 12 at 9 a.m.

Want to save money on car insurance? Want to bank extra points with the DMV? What about the "three-second rule" and why you shouldn’t drive with your hands at ten and two anymore?

This course will lead drivers age 50+ through practical driving techniques, the effects of the normal changes to vision and hearing caused by aging, and the effects of medications and alcohol. The course reviews the latest "rules of the road" and operating vehicles safely in today’s environment and with today’s technology.

The course is six hours and runs from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. (including a 1/2-hour lunch break) at the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, 37 Baltimore Avenue, Rehoboth Beach, DE. Bring a bag lunch or enjoy one of the restaurants in downtown Rehoboth.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early. All participants must attend the entire course in order to receive a certificate.

The fee for the course is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members.  To register for the class go to Eventbrite.

For more information, please call Salvatore Seeley, LCSW at CAMP Rehoboth – 302-227-5620
