Reimagining Aging and Retirement

A Ten Week group

The group will have a dynamic conversation about the life transitions of retirement and aging. During our ten-week sessions, we will share support and new perspectives as we investigate the importance of renewing or finding purpose. We will maintain our aliveness, as we nurture ourselves and others.
The goals of the group are:
1. Opportunity to examine thoughts and feelings about retirement, aging, and impermanence.
2. Opportunity to share thoughts and feelings with others.
3. Support in finding purpose in this new time of transition.

The group will be facilitated by two experienced, retired psychotherapists who are also navigating this transition. Davis Short, LCSW, LCSW/C is retired after forty years of clinical proactive, supervision and consultation. Batya Hyman is Professor Emerita, Salisbury University School of Social Work.
The group will be limited to ten members and meet on Zoom beginning Wednesday, September 16, at 1-2:30 pm. To develop a supportive environment, each member should commit to attending all ten sessions. No new members will be added once the group begins. Preregistration is required.
