The bus will leave from CAMP Rehoboth, 37 Baltimore Avenue at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12 for Wilmington, DE to visit Nemours Mansion & Gardens. Nemours, the former 300 acre estate of Alfred I. duPont, is named after the duPont ancestral home in north central France. The estate is where a visitor might believe he or she magically just stepped into Europe. Modeled after Versailles, Nemours is a masterpiece of design with its mansion, fountains, artwork, gilded sculpture and what is the largest formal French garden in North America.

Hop back on the bus and head towards Kennett Square, PA to enjoy lunch and an afternoon at Longwood Gardens. The afternoon is yours to enjoy lunch at the café and spend the afternoon exploring over 1,100 acres of meadows, gardens, fountains, and woodlands including a 4-acre conservatory. We departe Longwood Gardens around 3-3:30 and make our way back to Rehoboth Beach.

*There is a minimum of 50 people to sign-up for the trip. Once we have reached 50 people, the trip becomes non-refundable. If we don’t reach our minimum by April 27, tickets will be refunded.

The cost of the trip is $70 per person and includes:

  • Admission to Nemours Mansion & Garden and Longwood Gardens
  • Bus transportation
  • Drivers Tip
  • Snacks on the bus
