Transgender Day of Remembrance was founded in 1999 by a small group, including Gwendolyn Ann Smith, to memorialize the murder of transgender woman Rita Hester in Allston, Massachusetts.

On November 20, CAMP Rehoboth hosted a candlelight vigil for Transgender Day of Remembrance. See below to commemorate those lost in the transgender community.

Thank you for helping us honor the lives of those most vulnerable in our community. May their names never be forgotten.
