CAMP Rehoboth THRIVE Youth is partnering with Big Brother Big Sisters of DE to have an open conversation with Tiyona McCollister (she/her/hers) Program Manager, for LGBTQ youth who are interested in wanting a mentor and the application process.

We will discuss how BBBS volunteers support and engage with youth, how we screen volunteers, and the safety measures in place, what the youth enrollment process looks like, and the benefits of having a supportive adult outside the home. There will be time for Q & A.
Remember according to The Trevor Project, just ONE supportive adult reduces the chance an LGBTQ youth will attempt suicide by 40%.
Please be mindful these meetings are specifically open to youth ages 10 -19.
