In this interactive workshop, we will be covering current terminologies and discuss the importance of using pronouns and gender-neutral language.

Here's Dear's bio:

Dear (she/her) is an assistant director for gender & sexuality at the Angelina Pedroso Center, Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU). Dear has been working in higher education since 2014. She specializes in diversity, equity, and inclusion education. Recently, Dear has been selected as a 2021 New Leaders Council Fellow, a highly- selective leadership training for a rising generation of progressive leaders.  Dear is passionate about increasing access to higher education for students of color, LGBTQ+, undocumented students.
