World AIDS Day 2020

12/1/2020 at 7:00 pm

The Rehoboth Beach World AIDS Day Candlelight Vigil and Service of Remembrance and Hope is still on. This event has been a December tradition in Rehoboth Beach since the mid-1990s and no way is COVID going to stop us from remembering this important day.  This means the event this year will look a bit different.

This year there will be multiple safe ways to participate in this important day of remembrance. You can attend the event and be part of our candlelight drive-up vigil and watch the event from the comfort and safety of your own car. The service and reading of the names will be safely held under the outdoor portico at Epworth Methodist Church. If you cannot attend the live event, you will be able to watch the live stream on our CAMP Rehoboth facebook page.

Let’s all come together as a community during this time of pandemic to remember those who have lost their lives to the AIDS epidemic.

To add a name to be read during the service or other questions about the event, please email here or call CAMP Rehoboth at 302-227-5620.
