Funny! on how, and how, we use to drive down to the river and on how we use to stroll so slowly together on the damp grass, while busily whacking away at the annoying gnats, flies and mosquitoes... and on how we use to stop for a moment, just to stand and stare, in amazement, at the huge brown river rats, which were lumbering all along the river banks. We held each others hands then and stole side glances of love towards each other... funny that, I am not now amazed about rats, of any kind, like that, anymore.
Funny! on how, and how, we use to make love, and, on how we use to keep the lights on in the room, but turned down low...admiring our physical selves, and on how we use to dash across the bedroom floor, in our bare feet, like children, and jump with a crash into the bed, completely naked... funny that, I do not get naked with anyone like that, anymore.
Funny! on how, and how, we use to share all of those kisses... there was not a place on me or on you, that our lips, did not find. Funny, on how, and how the way you use to look at me, when you said, "you loved me!" and funny that, you do not love me like that, anymore.
Funny! on how, and how, the pangs of ecstasies use to bind us with the coupling of our bodies soon made into one... and funny, on how, and how, for just a few glorious seconds we were of one flesh bonded in our blood. And funny, on how, and how I can still feel you near me... ---------I can still feel you by me... ---------I can still feel you...in me! and funny on how, and how, it is not funny...NO! not so funny, to me now.
