John Klenert is reprising his role as ruler of 3 Country Club this season and has revealed his plans for the production of Squirt Gun Party 5, also known as Squirt Gun Wars: The Phantom Menace. King Klenert is currently casting the part of the Young Queen, a role most insiders predict will go to Chris Riss, a seasoned performer who gave us last years creepy-crawly Catwoman. The big question: Can the renowned Riss pass as a Young Queen? Answer: Hes got half the battle beat. In other beach house news, Marty "Marge" Horwath wont be returning to 707 Bayard this summer. Apparently, the house guidelines say that members must move out upon turning 40. The last time something like this happened to Marty, he was 16 and booted from the rock band Menudo. Rumor has it that Marty is secretly collaborating with former Menudo band member, and current pop sensation, Ricky Martin, to get revenge on his ex-roomies by tying them up and playing "Livin La Vida Loca" over and over. Looks like 707 Bayard isnt the only house downsizing. DCs premier party producers, and Patrick Menasco, have given themselves some more living space at 901 King Charles by cutting its membership from 18 to 8. After the hard work and politics of creating the sensational Cherry 4, they needed to surround themselves with fewer competing egos. Youre not alone if you live on Olive Street. Rehoboth regulars Kevin McDuffie and Gianni Ballarin are the new kids on the block after selling their awesome abode on Atlantic Avenue. Since the purchase of this new property, the couple has had only one thing on their minds: Renovation, renovation, and more renovation. Reportedly, Kevin and "G" have applied the finishing touches to their new home. You might say theyve transformed the Olive Pit into the Olive Garden! Speaking of purchases, Washingtons mortgage maven, Gregg Busch, has left the luscious lads at 211 Lake in a lurch. Reportedly miffed after being excluded from 211 Lakes post Sundance 98 soiree, Gregg bought the lovely lakefront home out from under them. At $410,000, thats one expensive invitation! On the other side of Rehoboth, Wes Combs and Greg Albright have bought and moved into 113 Columbia, where they, reportedly, will start a family. As godparents to Madonnas little Lourdes, the couple is excited to finally be having tiny tots of their own. Still unanswered is how many children they plan to have, which doctor will deliver the babies, and if Greg will give birth naturally or by C-section. Reigning queen of Drag Volleyball, Rich Fennell, and the wind beneath his wings, Al Tietzman, have purchased a condo in Spring Lake. Rich took one look at the campy, circa Austin Powers dcor and immediately fell in love. The truth of the matter, according to a secret source, is that it was the only place that matched his wardrobe. Sunday, May 30, the force will be at the Renegade for Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Party. Plus, the talented Chris Peterson is returning to the Renegade. Wayne Hodge has booked Chris starting Thursday, June 3. On the party circuit, things are shaping up for LOVE99, which will be held at the Rehoboth Convention Center on July 3 from 8 p.m. 2 a.m. This year, credit goes to new chairperson, Mark Aquirre, for bringing the successful fundraiser into its fifth rotation. The beneficiaries are SCAC and CAMP Rehoboth. Dont forget to show your support for them by hosting this "lovely" event. As part of a new CAMPsafe initiative, Cloud 9 will be the setting for three Sunday SAFE-Tea Dances from 5 p.m. 8 p.m. Mark your calendars, the dates are June 20 with DJ Keana, July 25 with DJ Robbie Leslie, and August 16 with DJ Brian Norwood. There is no cover charge, but everyone is required to have a great time! Finally, forms are available at CAMP Rehoboth for the seventh annual BEACH BOOK, the summer phone directory that keeps you in touch with all your friends, old and new.
