In case you haven't heard, Jason LaHunk, I mean LeBrun, is back at Lori's Caf serving up your favorites for yet another season. Stop by and see for yourself why that great smile and charming personality made him Rehoboth's number one bagel boy last summer. Vince and Laurie Mullay celebrated the grand opening of their new business Fun to Fine Jewelry with a ribbon cutting ceremony and opening reception on Friday, June 9 at 11 a.m. Located in First Street Station, the unique store offers a large selection of fine and costume jewelry to fit your every mood from drag to riches. In addition to bringing you a variety of the wild and mild, Vince and Laurie will feature a new exhibit each month bringing you the talents of local and visiting artists. This month focuses on Dale Sheldon, a studio painter from Silver Spring Maryland and Rehoboth Beach Delaware. Dale studied at Philadelphia's Moore College of Art and graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland. She has won numerous awards in shows across the Mid-Atlantic and Florida Gulf Coast regions in watercolor, serigraphy, and photographic imagery. The Iguana Grill introduces Breakfast and Late Night, two new special menu's that will be available Thursday through Monday with an array of favorites to tempt your taste buds. Breakfast will be served 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with traditional grill sizzlers such as eggs, bacon, sausage, and ham as well as mouth cooling chillers like garden fresh fruit cups, Bloody Marys and mimosas. Late Night, served from 11 p.m. to 1 a.m., will offer an assortment of finger foods ranging from alligator bites, poppers and wings to stuffed mushrooms, zucchini, and drink specials including $2 wells and draft beer. Celsius Restaurant presents their second annual Gay Pride Brunch Sunday, July 9, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. A prix fixe menu of $12 will include brunch entree, breakfast cocktail, and coffee or tea. An assorted bread basket will be served with all meals. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Michael Brossette Fund of the Delaware HIV Consortium in memory of Roger Stanton. Get ready for a night of pure tropical heat when the Renegade goes Hawaiian starting with a Ladies Luau Tea Dance hosted by DJ Jame Foks on Saturday, June 17 from 4-8 p.m. Later that evening the heat continues as DJ Jeff Harrison spins your favorites for the Luau Party starting at 10 p.m. So get out your grass skirts and coconut bras and dance til dawn. There will be complimentary leis for everyone. DJ Jame Foks will host a Splash Party at The Beach House Restaurant that same evening, Saturday, June 17 at 10 p.m. She will return the following weekend June 24, and, of course, July 4th weekend. The Bon Vivant Foundation brings back the "Corona Invitational" Tennis Tournament, Sunday, July 2 from 8 a.m. to noon at the Cape Henlopen High School tennis courts in Lewes. The event, sponsored by The Beach House Restaurant, is a benefit to raise money to promote education, healthy living, and well-being for the women's community. To register, fill out the form on page 38, and mail, fax, e-mail, or call in your reply by June 25. Spectators are welcomed, so bring a lawn chair and join the fun.
