AIDS Memorial Garden Planned for the Beach "Remembering Those Lost" The Sussex County AIDS Committee is planning a Memorial Garden to commemorate the lives of those lost to HIV. The garden will be on the grounds of the SCAC office, located on South Street in Rehoboth. The basic plan is to have brick walkways meandering through well planned mini-perennial gardens. The bricks will be engraved (13 letters, including spaces, per line) with the name of a loved one who has passed away due to complications of AIDS. Engraved bricks honoring these individuals will be placed in the garden walkways. To view a sample or to place an order for the purchase of one or more bricks, stop by the SCAC office or at the World AIDS Day event in Rehoboth. Cost of the bricks are: $35 for one, $65 for two, and $90 for three. Bricks may be purchased by personal check or credit card. This is an exciting project and community involvement is encouraged in all aspects. Volunteers are being sought to help make the garden a reality.
