CAMP Rehoboth Community Center Founder's Circle Update |
by Andrea Andrus |
Founders' Circle Hits a Milestone Last week the Founders' Circle had its own July 4th fireworks when we hit a giant milestone in our campaign to raise $1,000,000. We succeeded in reaching over 50% of our goal and have grown to nearly 200 Founders' Circle members. Over the July 4th holiday weekend, we were thrilled to receive our latest donation that pushed us over the $500,000 mark. Sensational! Now that we have reached the peak of the summer, the CAMP Rehoboth office is abuzz with activity. There is a tremendous amount of excitement and interest in the Founders' Circle Capital Campaign and all of CAMP's "fun" and fundraising activities. It seems that each day, the office is taking on more and more of the appearance of our full-service community center, bringing people together, and really making a difference. A place to go, an activity to attend, people to meet, a helping handit's what we're all about! As you probably well know, we are now beginning our third year of the Founders' Circle Capital Campaign. During a time when other nonprofit organizations may find it difficult to successfully raise money and support, the CAMP Rehoboth Founders' Circle Capital Campaign has experienced tremendous success. The momentum is incredible and we have you, the community, to thank. If you are reading this article and have contributed to the Founders' Circle, I would personally like to thank you for your generous contribution. If you haven't, as of yet, joined in the momentum of building our community center a brick at a time, I invite you to stop into the CAMP office and I'll show you how you, too, can become part of a vital community effort. Also, summertime is the time for those "hot" house parties! We are looking for a few good hosts to organize "pledge" parties to mix "fun" and fundraising to benefit the Founders' Circle Capital Campaign. In the near future, we can look forward to the pursuit of corporate sponsorships and grants to complement your individual contributions to the campaign. All of these combined efforts will help us achieve our major financial goal and enable us to continue to run our community center and all of its activities in the future. We have a lot to look forward to so join with your friends and family in this community-wide effort to keep the momentum going. Thanks and enjoy your summer!
