Frogg Pond Hosts Grand Reopening! |
A wall came down, the bar was rebuilt, they launched into an entire re-do of the kitchen, the plumbing and electrical systems. The Frogg Pond renovation was not so much a facelift as a complete rebirthand guess whatthe place is all brand new but in all the ways that count, just the same. Starting with the 80% female crowd on the first Saturday night after re-opening (with a two-hour wait to get in!) and the return of the mostly-guys 6:30 p.m. Tuesday Night Dinner Club (followed by the usual anybody and everybody welcome kind of night!) Frogg Pond is back after a two and a half month construction overhaul that added a room, expanded the rest rooms, and gave the place a bright new energy. With ten TVs on the walls for constant monitoring of women's softball and basketball, NFL action, Major League Baseball, Fox sports net and more, plus the Pond's favorite bands still on the roster, the Frogg rocks! Music lovers will find One Love, Electric Velvet, Red Letter Day, Outskirts and all the rest still on tap along with great new menu items and old favorites (Monday is still wing night). "Our goal is to appeal to different groups of people, all at the same time," says co-owner Peter Borsari. "Everybody's welcome at the Frogg Pond." |
