Take a Lead in Governing
Do you possess the passion and leadership skills needed to run for office? Through its renowned Candidate and Campaign Training program, the Gay & Lesbian Leadership Institute has helped equip dozens of openly lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender candidates to win elections at every level of government. Now, the Institute hopes to recruit and prepare openly GLBT candidates seeking state office in Delaware. Currently, Delaware is one of thirteen states lacking openly GLBT representation in the state legislature. This training, which will be held Friday, June 14 and Saturday, June 15, will be distinct to Delaware politics and will look at the specific needs of planning and implementing a successful campaign strategy. If you are interested in applying for this training or have questions, please contact Tressa Feher at the Gay & Lesbian Leadership Institute at 202-842-7312 or at tressa.feher@glli.org. Deadline to apply is June 11. Couples* Spiritual Enrichment Classes (*Cou - ple: -noun. Two persons considered as joined together.)
