DC Cowboys Patron Raises Money for CAMP Rehoboth
CAMP Rehoboth angel Bruce Pfeufer (above right) and Jeff Kiley brought the DC Cowboys back to Rehoboth Beach for one performance to benefit the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center. The event, which was held at the Rehoboth Convention Center, raised more than $15,000 to support the work of CAMP Rehoboth
Team Ted or Team Joe? Walk for ALS!
ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease, is a disease for which there is currently no cure. Relatively quickly, persons affected by the disease become unable to speak, move, and breathe. Most patients die within five years. But, that doesn’t stop patients Ted Pokorny and Joe McNally—or their friends and family—from marching for a cure. See page 38 for ways you can help.
Sundance 5k Kicks Off Sundance Week
Rain or shine plan to run or walk in the second annual Sundance 5k on Sunday, August 28 at 7:30 a.m. In fact, you don’t have to run or walk to participate, you can join your friends and sashay down Baltimore Avenue! Letters Hits the Road Once Again
Never one to stay home, Letters recently visited The Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina with Steve Schreiber and Russell Koerwer, and then went on an Olivia Cruise with Alice Fagans, Ruth Ann Mattingly, Deb Qualey, Donna Davis, Gail Jackson, Karen Gustafson, Melanie Szvtich, Lynn Beattie, and Ann Reinhart. The vacation ended in Toronto with Ed McHale, Tom Bowman, Mike Shovlin, and Rich Morgante.
