I would like to take this opportunity to thank Fay Jacobs and Jenn Harpel for co-chairing the recent CAMP Rehoboth Women’s FEST Committee. This wonderful committee consisted of Patti Burke, Dottie Cirelli, Kathy Davison, Geri Dibiase, Mickie McManamon, Sharon Miken, Gwen Osborne, and Kathy Wiz.
Then there was the successful Broadwalk on the Boardwalk which again grew in donations raised for Delaware Breast Cancer Coalition as well as in number of participants. This was a moving and emotional event and for this we thank Kathy Wiz, chairperson and her committee: Deb Cutler, Kathy Davison, Karen Gustafson, Jenn Harpel, Muriel Hogan, Connie Holdridge, and Joanne Kempton.

These folks worked their butts off starting last October to bring all of these activities together for the pleasure of our local and out-of-town community. I served on this committee two years ago (when there were not quite as many events during the FEST) and I know the inordinate amount of work involved to bring this event to this year’s fabulous and awesome level.

My hat is off to all of you and I’m adding another big thank you for all that you did to make this such a successful event for our female community and for CAMP Rehoboth.

As a breast cancer survivor, I would like to thank everyone who participated in the walk (on April 15). The sea of pink, inspiring music, and the caring supporters left me with a very full heart! I truly appreciate all your efforts.
