While I think the boycott of Stolichnaya vodka is misplaced, (on the back of the bottle it says “product of Latvia”) I am cognizant that while part of a boycott is to harm the target financially the other part is to raise public awareness. I want to do my part to raise public awareness of the reprehensible and oppressive laws being passed in Russia against LGBT people. Because of that, as of August 5, Stolichnaya vodka is no longer a sponsor of ManDance or any other events at the L Bar.
We have decided to use Absolut Vodka as the prefered vodka for ManDance.

This letter is very overdue, so two lesbians from Indiana, named Amy and Cindy, are writing you today. We didn’t want to let another day go by before we wrote to express our sincerest appreciation for your help with our July marriage in Rehoboth Beach.
We visited the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center on Baltimore Avenue (we were staying behind you at the Rehoboth Guest House), and we were able to obtain one of your highly useful resource packets for gays who wanted to marry in Rehoboth, now that marriage equality is in play! We weren’t sure whether we were going to marry or not while on vacation. We’ve been a couple for 13 years and we knew we were committed to each other. We were afraid that there might be obstacles to our getting married while on vacation, but with your help, we made it happen.
Thanks to your informative packet, we drove over to the county courthouse, paid our fee, and obtained our “bride and bride” license. We then found a wonderful officiant from your list, Rev. Tom White. He was perfect for us. We urge you to keep recommending him.
Rev. White officiated in a wonderful way and the staff of the Rehoboth Guest House joined in cheering our marriage ceremony. Everyone helped us celebrate our love, and the guests of the house were our witnesses since our friends back home in Indiana couldn’t be there.
How lucky are we to have found the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center? Because of you, we met wonderful people who passed through our lives in a burst of joy. This letter of thanks isn’t enough, but we mean it when we say thanks. You made a difference for this butch and this fem!
We plan to return to Rehoboth again because it’s near and dear to our hearts
Cindy Stone and Amy Benckart
