Ben Killebrew
Mr. Ben E. Killebrew, 76, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014, after a short illness at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. Ben is survived by his husband, Michael J. Roussell; his son, Justin Killebrew of Paris, Texas; his daughter Shelly, of Texas; his beloved brother John, and sister-in-law Maureen of Vero Beach, Fla.; as well as a grandchild, several cousins, and many nieces and nephews of Texas.
Ben served his country as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army. After a distinguished and decorated career, he retired to Rehoboth Beach, where he owned and operated The Shore Inn from 1995 to 2000. Ben also spent many hours volunteering at Beebe Medical Center and the Beebe Thrift Shop.
His wishes are to be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Va. once the arrangements have been finalized and the family advised.
Arrangements were handled by Parsell Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Atkins-Lodge Chapel, Lewes. Services were private.

Frank Ray
Frank Ray, 57, a Washington real estate agent for three decades, mostly with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, died June 7 at a hospital in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The cause was cardiac arrest associated with early onset Alzheimer’s disease.
Frank is survived by his husband, Dan Byrne, and his son, Bockman Byrne-Ray.
Frank, a native of Tompkinsville, Kentucky, settled in the Washington area in 1983 and did volunteer work at Watkins Elementary School in the District. He was a member of the Capitol Hill United Methodist Church. Frank moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2012.
