As some readers may know, I reluctantly resigned from the Women’s FEST Committee this year due to my winter travel schedule. I was so lucky to have been able to spend the last several years working with the remarkable women in this group for this amazing event.
I was thrilled to open my copy of the February edition of Letters from CAMP Rehoboth and read about the fabulous line-up of events and activities for the 2014 FEST, including so many new choices and innovative ideas. Co-chairs Dottie Cirelli and Donna Whiteside, along with their committee colleagues, have done an awesome job developing the schedule for April and organizing all the moving parts. Cheers to you all and I look forward to purchasing my FEST Pass and attending!

We are writing this letter to encourage everyone to urge the health clubs in Sussex County, DE, to participate in the SilverSneakers Fitness Program.
SilverSneakers is a fun, energizing program that helps older adults take greater control of their health by encouraging physical activity and offering social events. Health plans around the country offer this award-winning program to those who are eligible for Medicare or to group retirees.
SilverSneakers provides a fitness center membership to any participating location across the country. Unfortu-nately, the closest participating locations are Rio Grande, NJ (23 miles away) and Delmar, DE (32 miles away).
Please run (or walk briskly) to your health club and request that they participate in the SilverSneakers Fitness Program.
