CAMP Chorus Is Off to an Award Winning Season!
CAMP Rehoboth Chorus began rehearsals for its annual 2015 winter concert on September 8. “We’re quite excited about this year’s theme, And the Winner Is celebrating great award-winning songs and artists from a wide variety of musical styles,” said Bob Hoffer. Based on last year’s performances, the Chorus has been awarded a 2015 grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts to enhance performing skills and increase outreach efforts. Music Director Doug Yetter and Accompanist David Zipse will again be leading the Chorus.
The Chorus is a non-auditioned group which welcomes those who love to sing. Rehearsals are Mondays from 6:30-8:30 p.m. from September until the February concert. There are opportunities for small groups and and solo parts to be assigned as rehearsals progress. The registration cost for new members is $70, which includes a CAMP Chorus polo shirt. Returning members pay $60 and do not need to re-register. The final date to join for this year is September 30.
