A few recent audience comments summarize a brief review of this show:
“Excellent selection of songs—diversity and variety—great music!”
“Very professional production: Quality and talent of the chorus has grown exponentially.”
“Amazing talent!”
This dynamic and versatile presentation showcases favorite award-winning songs from a variety of genres. Represented are country, gospel, R & B, folk, movie, and musical theatre, as well as a surprise or two with numbers that didn’t quite win but should have. Some won Grammys, some Oscars, and a couple were voted into the Grammy Hall of Fame. All of this is tied up nicely with wit and a dab of sophistication. Band members take opportunities to perform a couple of rousing numbers on their own, as well! The show appeals to various musical tastes, and the audience will certainly recognize most of the selections.
