Frank Catagnus

Francis (Frank) Dominic Catagnus

Francis (Frank) Dominic Catagnus, Jr., 64, of Rehoboth Beach, DE, formerly of Norristown, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at his residence.

Born in Norristown, he was the son of Francis Dominic Catagnus and the late Mary Jane (Williams) Laffredo.

Frank was an avid sports fan and enjoyed music, movies, and going to the beach.

Surviving along with his father is one daughter Paula Jane Wagner wife of Eric; one son Chris Catagnus; three grandchildren; one sister Carmel Rutter wife of Kenneth; one brother Michael Catagnus; and his step-mother Mildred Catagnus.

A memorial service was held Saturday January 16, 2016 at  at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Ltd., 329 N. Lewis Road, Royersford. Interment was private. A memorial celebration was held at Dos Locos on February 7.

 

Scott StandifordWinfield Standiford III

Winfield Scott Standiford III, “Scott” or “Scotty,” of Rehoboth Beach died the morning of Monday, January 4, 2016, of advanced prostate cancer.

He was a ham radio operator for most of his life, and a broadcast professional for his entire career as an announcer, station owner, AV salesperson, chief engineer, and finally a cutting-edge interactive AV training system designer and builder for HUD. After retirement, he founded and ran a public radio station in Rehoboth Beach.

He is survived by his partner of 40 years, and spouse of five-and-a-half years, Richard M. McReynolds; nieces Jeanine Standiford of Milton, FL, and Lisa Melancon of Youngsville, and nephew Winfield S. Standiford of Pearl River, LA, and their offspring.

Per his wishes, there was no service and his burial in Baltimore, MD was private.

Please direct all funds in his memory to Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.

A memorial gathering will be held later this year in Rehoboth Beach.
