Comic Double Bill at CAMP Rehoboth on August 5
Jennie McNulty and Lisa Koch will make you laugh!
Here’s good news! The Women’s FEST team is back, not just goofing off and waiting for next spring!
CAMP Rehoboth and the Women’s FEST team are pleased to announce that there will be a huge music and comedy event coming this August 5 to the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center.
Comics Jennie McNulty and Lisa Koch (who also sings!) will be on stage at CAMP for a Summer Comedy Heat Wave—there will be two shows, 7 and 9 p.m., each offering this hilarious double bill.
The Women’s FEST Team is importing these West Coast performers for one-night only, August 5. Tickets ($25) are available on the CAMP Rehoboth website.
Jennie McNulty, is “One of the premiere comedians in the country” according to the The New England Blade and Curve magazine rates her as among the “Top 10 lesbian comics.” Her playfully sarcastic style is a winner.
Jennie was here for Women’s FEST several years ago and brought the house down. She’s been all over the world, from entertaining troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Eastern Europe to the beautiful beaches and serene sea ports of the LGBT travel world with Sweet, Atlantis, and other travel companies. Her talk show, Walking Funny With…was a huge hit on AfterEllen.com, and is now in production for a fourth season.
In addition to headlining comedy clubs, colleges, and events across the country, Jennie’s also headlined Pride festivals everywhere, and spent six summer seasons performing nightly in Provincetown, MA. She produces two comedy/variety shows in the Los Angeles area and was a regular host at the Improv at Harrah’s in Las Vegas.
Lisa Koch was in Rehoboth for Women’s FEST many moons ago and we are thrilled to welcome her back. An irreverent Seattle singer/comedian, Koch (“Coke”) is a deliciously twisted mix of comedy, theater, and demented songs. She has four solo recordings, is one-half of the hilarious sketch-comedy duo, Dos Fallopia. She has shared the stage with a diverse group of artists, including Steve Martin, Dave Brubeck, Janis Ian, The Indigo Girls, Holly Near, and Kate Clinton. She performs regularly on Olivia Cruises, and has been seen on LOGO.
Get your tickets ASAP for this hot night of comedy, a summer spectacular brought to you by CAMP Rehoboth and the Women’s FEST Team. Tickets are $25 at camprehoboth.com The shows are certain to sell out at CAMP’s intimate venue. Be there!
